When I met you
You were lost
Without knowing your calling
When I met you
You were alone
In the circle with hundreds of people populated
When I met you
Your calendar was filled with tasks
To merely mark off for existence
When I met you
You were lost
Without knowing your calling
When I met you
You were alone
In the circle with hundreds of people populated
When I met you
Your calendar was filled with tasks
To merely mark off for existence
What is poetry?
It’s like a school album
Instantly taking us back to the memory
Of that day, that moment, that sensation
That I, or You,
Once had, long, long time ago
To live
To live in this moment
It’s like getting thirsty
Being blinded by the sun for a moment
Noticing a piece of song pop into your head
Like Sneezing
Or being with you, hand in hand
You live in your own world
Built with teachings from your childhood
Protected by core your people
Guided by your belief system
No one can possibly step into your world
Not a day, not even a minute
No one can perceive what you love, admire, despise, or fear
Even your mother, brother, wife, or best friend
I know you are hurt
Wishing to help ease the pain you are in
I know there is no cure
Except for time for you to earn wisdom
When we were walking together on a cold, windy day
It started raining
We kept walking without a word
To the place we were heading to
Thoughts become things
The very thing you spend time on
The very thing you pour effort into
Those things will grow in your life
To come back to you eventually
You are who you are today because of the thoughts you had in the past
Some may argue that they never wished to be in the current situation
You are merely a ball of energy, quietly pulsating
Contracted and expanded, dense and thin, repeatedly
We are merely a ball of energy, rubbing against one another
Influencing by seen, heard, touched, and felt
The more intensely you exchange the essence of you
The more deeply the energy blends in
”I was chosen by God.”
This is the belief she was driven by
At age 16, she headed to the city
To proclaim to the King
That she was the one to bring victory to France
“I am not afraid. I was born to do this.”
This is the belief she was guided by
In a trial for her life
I wonder, what the word “passion” exactly means
Something you feel excitement for like supporting your favorite team or singing Karaoke?
Something you are eager to do like following your dearest celebrity on social media?
Someone, or beloved animals, you desire to be with whenever you can?
Since when I was a teenager
I’ve been asking myself, repeatedly
Why I’m here
In this room, in this house
On this street, in this city
In this country, on this planet
